This policy describes the current privacy practices for Run Ze Education (“us”, “we”, or “our”) regarding its websites and teaching services and all related activities (“Services”). All information that is collected and provided to Run Ze Education will be treated, used and protected in accordance with this privacy policy. This information may change as we modify our services provided. Some features are only available if you are a registered user (“user” being henceforth understood as a user of our Services).
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Collection
Upon registration of a user's account on runzeworldportal.com, we collect and store identifying information (“Personal Data”) such as the user's name, username on the website, email address, parent's email address, school grade, school, and birthday. This data is stored until the account is deleted.
We also store cookies and usage data, including whether the user is logged in at the time.
In order to electronically enroll the user, the user's registration status in those courses is stored.
If the user completes any quizzes on the website, their grade will be stored until deleted by a member of Run Ze Education. Other grades and evaluations that are performed in offline capacities may also be uploaded and stored by us.
Optionally, the user may upload a profile picture to their account.
We may also collect information how the Service is accessed and used ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. For example, we use Preference Cookies to remember your preferences and various settings.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

School, grade, birthday, and name information are collected so that we can offer appropriate courses to our students and improve their experience. The email addresses provided are stored for communication purposes between us and the owners of the email addresses.
Certain Personal Data such as pictures, grades, and courses taken may be displayed on our websites if the student has performed well or achieved exceptional success, for advertising purposes as an example to prospective students. This data will not be handled by any other party before being posted. The student or their guardian may request to have this information removed by contacting Run Ze Education.
Access to personal information within Run Ze Education will be restricted to those staff members who need the information in order to carry out their job duties. Those employees will maintain the information in the strictest of confidence and will not provide access to the information to anyone who is not authorized. The level of staff access to personal information will be granted on a need-to-know basis.
Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside Canada and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Canada and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Run Ze Education will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.

User Control Over Data
You can modify your email address, profile picture, grade, school, password, and email address. You may request an account deletion, which request takes 7 days to be fulfilled, and may be cancelled by you before the request is completed. An account deletion will remove your user account along with user account related data on our websites.
All other user data cannot be modified by you through any of our websites, but you may contact us if you would like to make a change.
Privacy Policy Changes
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We will let you know via a prominent notice through one of our Services, prior and subsequent to the change becoming effective and update the "effective date" at the top of this Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
